last night went salsa dancing with the art majors that showed up.
WHERE WERE Y'ALL?!
it was fabulous fun only there werent many salsa songs. mostly reggatone and rap, but the boy i danced with most of the night was very sweet and smiled a lot and respected my personal space. i ran into andy, trent, meredith, laura katherine, and some other girls i forgot their names.
today i woke up and got a free cell phone
visited karen, had a hug, saw the fabulous apt ill be cat sitting in for a week.
went to the coffee shop and had such an awesome time praying and reading Mark. (19 mercies from the back of the raggamuffin gospel are amazing!)a man and wife asked me what i was studying, i told them Mark, and they were with campus outreach and all this stuff and it was so encouraging and i felt so lifted by meeting brothers and sisters...and such a part of something beautiful and global.
went to moxie gallery and beautiful artwork and Beth.
met up with April, (had a hug), and her friend Dustin, who treated us to a fabulous dinner of my favorite sushi. great conversation.
went to charlemagne records, a man came up to me and told me that i was so beautiful. it made me feel really special because he wasnt some creep or something.
went to barnes and noble, saw erica, had a hug.
walked to starbucks, ran into a friend josh, had a hug, met amos, had a hug, looked at his paintings, drove to cambridge, saw erica and meredith, had two hugs.
went to walmart, ran into two totally different friends from highschool and had two more hugs.
ive had such a good day. just relaxing and rambling around, geting a few things done, seeing a bunch of people, having great conversations... i just love a good conversation. love. in fact, it might be one of the sweetest things on the face of the planet.
i feel kinda guilty for taking these three weeks off of work before project, but mostly im enjoying the heck out of it.
