Yahoo~ Santa-san here~ Sorry for being so late, but I've been trying to write a fully-developed story for your christmas present. However, work and my muses wouldn't let that happen. So instead, I'm offering up scenes and snippets of the potential adventures of Sora, Riku, and Kairi--aka, The Keyblade Trio.
Also, if it sounds off in places, I apologize ahead of time.
"'Princes of Hearts'?" Sora looked a little confused. "There's actually guys who are like the Princesses of Hearts?"
"That's right!" Queen Minnie nodded. "Those are men with pure hearts; men without any trace of Darkness within them. And just as there are seven Princesses of Hearts, there are seven Princes."
"So...does the King want us to help him find the seven Princes and keep them safe from the Heartless?" Riku asked.
"Well...not exactly. You see, the truth is...Mickey and the others have been captured."
"Captured?!" All three teens chorused in shock.
"How--?!"
"Who was it?" Riku demanded.
"When did it happen?" Kairi added.
"It was four days ago, when Mickey went to visit the Restoration Committee in Radient Gardens. He had heard that an old friend named Zack Fair had returned, and he wanted to see him again to make sure that he was okay. Donald and Goofy went with him to see their friends on that world, and to let them know that you, Sora, made it home with your friends. However, it was also on that day the city came under attack by the Remnants, a trio of silver-haired men who, some claim, practically reek of Darkness. They captured Donald and Goofy, and told Mickey that unless he surrendered himself to them, they would kill his friends."
"And he surrendered, huh?"
Minnie nodded solemnly. "They were after Mickey, and he knew it. That's why he told Aeris to warn his other friends--you three--of the growing dangers these Remnants pose upon the worlds."
"But why the King?" Sora asked. "Why did they wanna capture him and Donald and Goofy?"
"Because...Mickey is a Prince of Heart."
Silence hung in the air for a moment.
"What?!"
"But...but he has some darkness, right!? I sensed it whenever I was with him!" Riku protested.
"Actually, that's kind of an illusion he casted on himself so that the other side would never suspect how much Light he truly has within him. But somehow...the Remnants saw through that illusion. According to Aeris' emergency report, they actually called him "Prince of Light"."
"So they were after him after all..."
"And now, you want us to find the other six Princes of Light to keep them safe from the Remnants, right?" Kairi asked.
"Yes, that's right. Please, Sora, Riku, Kairi--don't let them find the other Princes! And if you can, please find a way to save Mickey and the others!"
"It would be best if you bring the Princes of Light here," Daisy suggested. "The Cornerstone of Light will keep even the strongest Heartless away from our world, so they would be safest here until the Remnants are defeated."
"Okay! We'll keep that in mind."
"Right! Let's go, Riku and Kairi!"
"Wait a minute, Sora!" Riku grabbed the brunette boy's arm. "We don't even know where to start!"
"Of course we do! Radient Gardens, where the Remnants were last seen! We can get some info on them from Aeris and the others. Besides, I wanna see the King's friend Zack, too!"
Riku groaned as he put his face in his hand.
"It's okay, Riku; maybe this Zack guy could help us..."
"Squire Zack Fair!" Tifa shouted as she marched up to the group. "What in the frackin' Heavens are you doing, summoning Bahamut in the middle of the city?!"
"B-But--there was a really huge Heartless and we wanted to get rid of it quickly and--OWW!" Zack rubbed the now-sore spot on his head.
"Oh, c'mon, Tifa--Zack was in full control of it!" Sora pointed out. "Besides, it looked really cool when it did that Mega Flare thing and--Oww! That hurts!"
"That's what you get for encouraging him like that!"
"As if he needs any encouragement," Cloud muttered. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Ariel?!" Sora exclaimed upon seeing Mulan's 'guest". "What are you doing here?"
"Trying to find any clues as to where they took Eric! Ohhh, I'm so happy to see you again, Sora!" Ariel hugged him. "And to see you as a human, too! It's wondering being among humans, isn't it?"
"Uhhhh...yeah; its great..."
"You said Erid was taken? Is he a friend of yours?" Kairi asked.
"He's my husband."
"Husband? You're married now?!" Sora exclaimed.
"Oh, yes! Yes, I am!"
"Wow...congrats, I guess."
"thank you...but--ohhhh! It's so fustrating when you've only just married and the one you love gets kidnapped by those strange men in black leather! I tried following them through their portal, but I somehow ended up here. Thank goodness I met Mulan; she's been so kind, letting me stay with her and learn human customs in this place."
"I-It's no trouble; really," Mulan insisted, blushing shyly.
"Wait--strange men in leather?" Riku asked. "What kind of hair did they have?"
"Why, it look kind of silver-y--like your hair, actually--and they keep calling Eric a 'Prince of Hearts', even though that's not the right title for him!"
The three Keybearers traded worried looks.
"They found another one..."
"That's three so far!"
"Man, this sucks!" Sora moaned. "How do they keep getting to them before we could?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Angeal..." Zack chuckled quietly as he approached the white-winged man. "It's good to see you again."
"You know this guy, Zack?"
"Yeah! He's Sir Angeal, Holy Knight of the Phoenix, Goddess of Ressurection. I'm his squire," he added proudly. "Man, to see you alive after all these years and to see that you haven't changed for the worse...makes me glad, y'know?"
Angeal smiled in return. "It is both welcoming and comforting to see you alive as well, Zack. To be honest, I had practically given you up for dead--or worse. I am most pleased to be proven wrong in this case."
"Awww, you should know by now that I wouldn't let something like the Darkness stop me!"
"Heh...you really haven't changed one bit, have you?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"So, who's that guy?" Riku nodded to the man with the pink camera.
"His name's Tsukasa, but he calls himself a 'Kamen Rider'--whatever that is," Phil replied with a shrug. His tone then grew more serious as he added, "But don't let his looks fool ya! That guy's been tearing up the tournaments ever since he set foot in this place! He's the only other guy who's beaten Herc!"
"Whoah! He's beated Herc? Man, he really is strong, huh?"
"And talented to boot! He's got a hole heap of tricks up his sleeves, so be careful when you face him, alright?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Wait a minute!" Riku called out to the pink-armored guy. "Just who are you, really? One would think that a so-called 'Destoryer of Worlds' would have much more Darkness than what you currently have!"
The strange warrior stopped for a moment, then looked over his shoulder at Riku. "Is that so? Huh...never thought of it that way... Still, it doesn't change what I really am."
"And what are you, then?"
"Just a passing-through Kamen Rider; remember that."
