(no subject)
everyone got a letter from the principal today.
these letters are never good.. the only time we ever get them is when something bad has happened, or is about to happen. I dread the little appoquinimink school district logo on the top of the papers when our teachers hand them out- you know it's never good..
anyways, we got one today.
"Yesterday, after the conclusion of school, we received information that one of our students was in possession of a gun."
it goes on about how our school police officer took action, blah blah blah and people were questioned and will be charged.. so everything is 'under control', it's just scary to think about it.
I don't know what the intentions of the person with the gun was, and if it was for something bad in school, it obviously didn't happen- but i was thinking about what happened yesterday. Nothing weird or extravagant.
It just scared me, cause i guess i always thought "oh well this is middletown- nothing'll happen, and today is just a normal day"- but yesterday was "just a normal day", and no one would have known the difference..
as far as i know, the person could have had the gun to go hunting with after school or something (benefit of the doubt :P)- but it's just kind of a "hey, you don't live in a bubble" reality check.
i think i'm sounding dumber and dumber with every word i type, so i'll stop now.
that's all.
Eddie is meeting AFI tomorrow, and i am incredibly happy for him. i hope he has a wonderful time. I know how much he loves them, so i'm happy that he's going to finally get to meet them. have fun eddie! :) lylaZ
