codine that marcus's mom gave me is my new friend
so, something is plaguing my friends here at clark.
a few weeks ago, during a soccer game (an event that is to blame for many problems) Amy was injured playing goalie. her ankle is in an air cast.
the next game, i step in as goalie which i should have known was a bad idea since it has been since middle school that i even played soccer. but with my delusions of grandeur, i took a shot at it. needless to say i failed miserably and know have a torn ACL (a ligament in my right knee) and am having surgery on May 16th to fix me and hopefully recover in time for camp.
that same game kate rolled her ankle and though we all thought she was ok, it turns out that it might be fractured and is now in a cast.
on spree day during the concert, NOT DRUNK as many assume, someone stage dives into Erica. she had a traumatizing experience at the hospital and is now in lots of pain.
it just so happens that these are all my friends and we all live in the same dorm, but things are getting a bit fishy around here.
alas.
i have lots of work to do as well, which you can tell i am doing. i called health servces for recommendations for PT and blood work i need to get done up here before the surgery. it should be interesting, i have never had surgery before, i have had stitches and a broken wrist. i look forward to the recovery when i can be lazy and not feel bad about it.
also i DJed at spree day, crutch and all, and it was a blast. some liquid dreams, some OKGO, Beck, Sean Paul, etc. a good time all around and now i have my own show from 9-11 on monday nights. unfortunately those not at clark can't actually hear me yet, but next year definitely. i am look forward to it though, it should be a good time and something to do since i am not allowed to do Tae Kwon Do.
that's basically it. passover was good, i was super glad to go home and see real doctors and my family of course (nell is super big and super cute) and spree day was fun and i now have a prescription for vicadin (sp?) that i am not filling cause it scares me.
i am going to play cards till dinner...
