Balch, more like Belch
it's fuckin' 44 degrees right now here. in August. Allen and I were freezing and huddling our jackets when he was walking me back to my dorm, and this guy walks buy wearing just a t-shirt and shorts. oh yeah, and there were seagulls out earlier this afternoon. wtf?
being in JAM makes me realize how much my dorm sucks. i guess it'll be good once classes start for studying. actually, i was going to go with some of the girls to the comedian, but our RA meeting ran late and it filled up before we could get in.
engineering has to be the coolest college on campus. today for my academic briefing, i just listened to this old guy make fun of the kids in Arts and Science (Arts and Crafts!). there's nothing going on tomorrow except that i need to write my essay on The Trial and there's some panel discussion at 3:30 so i am freeee to sleep in, hence the staying up late tonight (gotta do it while i actually want to and can.
yay, i'm meeting people! and my family is leaving tomorrow. i kinda want them to go and take this vacuum cleaner that blows the fuse with them.
i was walking back from central campus to north campus where my dorm is today, and i went across the foot bridge. the waterfall was so amazingly powerful because of all the rain, and to top it all off there was a rainbow. simply gorgeous.
