water polo is like horsie polo [which is called real polo by the rest of the world] except you play it in the water, and there are no ponies, for obivious reasons

yes but in regular polo, the ball is the on the ground, and the people hit it from horseback with sticks. but in water polo...the people would be on the same level as the ball, no? so...that just doesn't make sense to me.

i haven't played in a long long long time, but i think you throw it or something, which makes it like water basketball, but no dribbling and no hoop. they have goals
