(no subject)
All of the Clemson students are coming back into town. I see all the freshman walking around with their parents, and as I drive around with my green parking tag that lets me park in all of the good spots on campus (the professors' spots), I laugh at them. Then, I realize that that'll be me in less than a week.
I've also noticed that everywhere else in the country future Cornellians actually talk and try to get together. There are sendoff parties in major cities. But it seems that everyone in the south has this "Get me the hell outta here and away from anyone remotely connected to this place in anyway possible" attitude. Not even Hotlanta is having a sendoff party. Maybe it's just because that we're all so distantly spaced that even if we wanted to meet up, it probably wouldn't be possible. I dunno, it's just...interesting.
oh yeah, and I went to the doctor this morning, and she said that my cough is viral and could last for up to three more weeks. splendid.
