college days..
so TODAY i went to calc study session. what a concept, i know. then went to the honors lounge and literally did calc problems from like 10:30-2. i hate calculus now. officially. lol, no im kiddding, i dont really but it did suck. but its okay i dont really have much time tomorrow (technically today). so after calc i went back, richa striaghtned my hair (which poofed out in like 30 minutes due to humidity), walked with danielle to the 7-year med program meeting, in which we exchanged sarcastic, cynical comments. nothing like cynicism to keep the wit going. lol we got there (without getting lost!) and met people... okay, like 15 girls were wearing green. i dont get it. i was wearing it too. and its not like we coordinated this, it just happened. really quite weird. oh i saw chas today. so weird how guys get so tall when they were originally so short. lol. oh well, thats life isuppose. anyway so the meeting. yea. it was cool, but freakin' INTENSE. i mean, we need an A- (3.7 is the lowest) GPA, 30 on MCATs, 40 hospital and 40 volunteer hours (which we will have more anyway), evaluations... its pretty crazy. im just glad i have no more calc after this semester. i do not like calculus anymore. i mean its great, fun and all but i dont want it anymore. lol. i like chemistry thouhg. thats fun. and i cant wait till micro and cell bio. that stuff is gonna be great. intense, but great. so yea i came out of the meeting like 'oh shit' lol... i mean an A is a 90+ or 93+ depending on the teacher.. soo... yeah, its nuts. anyway, i think its going to be worth it... the grades, honestly, as long as i study and keep up with things, i think ill be alright... its the MCATs that im going to have to worry about... obviously, i will start preparing next semester.. reading over the books, etc. i think i might take a one year course, i dont really know. i have to get that stupid 30, and i much prefer to get it in april instead of august because then i dont have to worry about it. so if i shoot for a 40, then.. i dont know. i jsut have to seriously study like no other. anyway. so after that i was talking to this guy i knew in elem. school! how cool is that? i think thats cool :) then i finished my chem lab (can you believe it? i cant) and stuff like that. tomorrow is going to be NUTS... chem, calc, AOK, then at 2 i have some biomedical safety course, then i have the pre-med honor society meeting, then at 8 is the one tree hill season premiere (and obviously i cant miss that) then after 9 its study study study again for calc, and make sure i know that bitch through and through.. but yea. i should technically go study calc rt now, but hell whats the point of that. i will probably just go to sleep soon because thats the only thing worth doing at the moment. lol. anyway, i love college. i talked to my cousin tonight and that was fantastic. hope ya'lls life is great people.. mine is =) (even if it is hard) luv ya!
