Easy, Mac, easy...
This weekend flew by. I got some Coronas for Friday night and that made things allllllright. I helped Towelie rearrange his room in anticipation of his new roomie. It looks pretty good, but this kid said today he was apparently allergic to smoke. Well...that's too bad, man. Because I cannot practically function without smoking the reefer.
I banged out a nice paper on slavery...more specifically laws that allowed for freed slaves to own their own slaves. Wh-wh-what? I forgot to write it before the deadline, and so I did it this weekend in hopes that she'll only take off like ten points or something. Yeah, the syllabus says one class late is -10 points, and that's perfectly acceptable to me. This paper looks pretty professional, and this particular professor is from another planet. My block quotes look like they could be in the New Yorker and my in-text citations (while not strictly conforming to one format) validate my assertion that these facts are dead-on. Any discerning professor would be inclined to agree.
Spring break is in two weeks. I'm not going anywhere exciting, hopefully I can scrounge up some hours at work, but who knows. I'll have to tell Jon to let them know ahead of time.
