110 for showing up and 80 an hour...
Late last night the furnace at Casa de Jon, quit working. I was wondering why I was getting cold! So I figured that I would wait till morning to call the Furnace Repair People (I am definately not naming names!!!), by that time the internal temperature of the house hit 50 degrees! Considering that isnt bad only loosing 8 degrees of temperature in an 12 hour period and that was even with our overnight temperatures.
So after getting a call from the technicion (I am thinking warm thoughts by using spanish), he tells me that they dont service non prefered customers on weekends. But I can sign you up for 110 and then it will be 80 bucks an hour for the service call. WTF???????? What else can I say but, "Yes I will pay that come on over and get the ice off my moustache." Boy am I in the wrong buisness. For those prices he had better be cute and wearing a thong. (Might as well try and enjoy getting raped!!!)
This should be said about making the statement "What else can go wrong this week?" I definately jinxed myself by saying that. Lets get some back story here....
After the Ebola Death Virus that has plagued the friendly compatriots of the area, buying a snomobile that wouldnt start and then breaking that yesterday by pulling the starter rope out of the damn thing and breaking the recoil and now this. I guess bad things do happen in Threes!
I am going to vow never to say the phrase "What else can go wrong this week?"!!!!!!!!! Never, Never again my friends. Not once in a million years!!!
I will let you all know what happens after the guy leaves and my toes are thawed out.
