All and sunder...
Well, Things are going rather well on the Mighty McKee considering our recent cold snap recently. It is miserable on a boat where it takes you 100 times as long to do something in the winter months than it did in the summer. Having no hot water on the deckline makes is near impossiable to get rid of the accumulation of ice and crap that has built up from our loading and unloading. It is making life stressful for us all to get in the mood for work; so things are slowing down somewhat to akin of a snails pace.
This is yet another year that I will not be home for the holidays. I really dont mind that fact. But I miss the parties and now I have heard the infamous Latka Feed!!! Your planning sucks for inviting the one person that wants to go to that one meal. But, At least you all have included Amy Jane in some of your things. It makes me feel better to learn that you all want to atleast get to know and like her.
3-4 more weeks of misery and I will be done till march some time. 5 years at one job is a trying experience. 10 years in the same career says either I am stupid or just waiting for retirement. Which it is I dont know.
So If I do not get to talk to any or all of you before the holidays, May your days be bright, wonderful and full of enjoyment.
