Cabbage pie/quiche

This is a recipe from my mother-in-law.  Last week, for some reason I decided to make this "pie."  Well she calls it cabbage pie, but it does not really look like or taste like a pie to me.  It more reminds me of quiche, but not exactly.  So, I guess, I need to figure out what is the name of this dish.
It turned out to be very easy to make and very yummy.

1 Cabbage (sometimes I use half sometimes I use pre-cut packs and once used sour)

1 cup of sour cream

1 cup of mayonnaise

5 eggs

8 table spoons of self rising flour (or any flour would work)

1 tablespoon of oil

Some salt and other spices if desired

Mix it all up (I usually use mixer).

Cut up cabbage or get pre-cut in a bag, chop some onions and mix

Place cut cabbage with onions in the (at least 2” deep) greased baking dish

Add some dill and other spices

Add prepared liquid mix into the dish with cabbage, making sure it is somewhat even.

Put in the oven for 45+ minutes on 350F or until looks pretty and appetizing.

Let it cool a little before cutting.

Enjoy!
