Christmas weekend

Christmas weekend went by quickly.  It was relaxing time with family.  I went out only on Saturday, the other two days stayed home with Michelle, while Michael and Boris were doing what they usually do.  Michael played with neighborhood kids outside and Boris was working in his office or going to the store shopping (because I would send him there).

My friend suggested that we would take our boys to the movies.  So, I called my mom and asked if I could drop Michelle, who was supposed to nap during the time that we plan to go to the movies.  The perfect timing for the movie was 2:45pm.  There were only two movies at that time Little Fockers and Guliver Travels.  Since our boys aren’t that old, 7 and 11 I was suggesting that we see Guliver Travels, even though I wanted to watch Little Fockers myself.

I guess, because I was pushing for the Guliver, boys decided to pick the other movie.  We agreed.  I knew that Michael wouldn’t understand much in that movie and I am glad he didn’t.  The movie was very funny and entertaining.  I was laughing a lot.  I missed one part because Michael needed to go to the bathroom.  I was glad that he didn’t see that part (abt shot in a pn).

I love all of these movies Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, and Little Fockers.

The funny thing was at the movie theater, when I was buying the tickets, cashier apologized for the name of the movie.  It really amused me.

After the movie was over, we allowed boys to play in the arcade and then we went to the Chinese restaurant called Peony.  Last time we went there, it just opened and there was no buffet.  It was very expensive and not much food included in the portions.  This time we found that they offered wonderful buffet.  Restaurant was filled with all of the people who don’t celebrate Christmas.

Michael asked if he could stay overnight at his friend and everyone agreed on it.  So, Boris and I went to pick up Michelle from my parents while Michael went to a sleepover with my friend and her son.  He took his Wimpy Kid book with him!  Both boys are into this book.

I was trying to concentrate on what we need for our trip and start planning.  We got some presents already.  I did laundry today.  Tomorrow,  I will take kids to the daycare and then go shopping and packing.  I think we will stay overnight at my parents before catching the flight early morning to SFO.

holidays, movies, weekend, michael
