Reporting back to duty (?????)

Apr 03, 2004 12:12

MIA much? No, I haven't died, been kidnapped by the interpol or SD-6 (=D), or run off to become Colin Firth's sex slave. ((though I wish I had))

This has been the longest week in my bloody life. Apparently, when Lain told me a couple of months ago that this year I would be crying tears of blood, she wasn't kidding.

I'm already falling behind with my homework and I started Uni a fucking week ago!!!!

Mails are not getting answered, and friends are becoming annoyed... am truly truly sorry! I don't have internet at my grandmother's house, the short time I've been home I've mostly spent either catching up with sleep or homework((I, sadly as it is, am not kidding)) and I can't go to a cyber. I'm allergic to them.

Tuesday ((23rd)): Met with Marian, Verni, Edith, Cin and Luz at Juan's. Finally got to meet Luz's baby, Homero. Luckily for her, he doesn't look a lot like Facundo. Verni was a big prat. So what else is new?

Thursday ((25th)): First day at the Uni. Felt lost and disoriented. Was overwhelmed by the enourmous ammount of people that go there.

The teachers seemed nice enough. We have two per class ((only for Maths and Chem,)) a man and a woman. The former are fucktards. Really. While the other two explain everything crystal clear, and make you feel confidant enough that you will in fact be able to pass midterms, then come the fucktards ready to screw everything with their lame explanations that make your brain swirl. Why the fuck do we need TWO teachers anyway?

The people: Two many! Everybody tells me that after the first midterm, that's gonna change. The thought somewhat scares me. We are all potential drop-outs! *panics*

A surprise or two: On my first Chem class, I lost my seat during the break ((I had found a very lost-looking Cin, wandering down the halls. I started laughing, realizing that I must've looked *exactly* the same. We had a nice little reunion)) to some idiotic bimbo who kept twiling her hair and not paying attention. I had to watch ten minutes of the class from the door, and I couldn't hear a thing. I was about to kick the bimbo for her idiocy (?), when I spotted some empty seats. I went there and sat through twenty minutes or so before I realized something. The teacher asked a question and someone with A VERY FAMILIAR VOICE answered from *just* behind me. I turn, and who do I see? None other than Malena, my sweater-knitting, ex-boyfriend-friending, Hermione's-clon former friend! Ok, so I was definitely NOT expecting that. I must've looked like someone that had been force-fed a lemon that happened to be taped to an enormous brick =D

Surprise numero dos: Mariana. That was, er, awkward, to say the least. I went over to her and tried to be friendly. It was like hitting my head to a brick wall. Get over it already! Jeez.

I told Picco, and then he sent me an email:

Che mira que en una de esas tambien te podes encontrar con Martin, me
entere
por medio de Mariana que rondaba por ahi.... jajajaja me rio solo
jajajaa!!!!

JA JA JA!!!!!! I can't stop laughing!!!!11!!!!!1!11 Really, I can't!!!!!!!!!11111111111111 *chokes*

I've seen many people I know, and many people I know but never really wanted to see again. Guess which one makes majority?

Thursday ((later)): Picco came over. We went to Arnaldo's for ice-cream. Then to the Alliance. Then to El Franco. We got home and I was exhausted. We rented Requiem for a Dream and A Clockwork Orange. I'VE FINALLY WATCHED ACO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can now die in peace.

Saturday ((27th)): Went to mrtorture's Metal Party Thing. He did a much better job at describing the event in his journal than I'll ever be able to make, so I won't even try. Go, check it out! =D

Tuesday ((30th)): Went to Escobar to finish getting everything I needed in order to get my fucking driver's license. We arrived in Garin at 10 ((the place closed at 10:30)) and we were told that we would have to come some other day, because the doctor was already on her way out. THE FUCK!!!!! I nearly went ballistic on the guy, that was the third day of my life wasted in that bloody license! I don't even like driving that much! Ok, that's a lie, but whatever. Argentinean burocracy just gets the better of me sometimes.

Friday ((2nd)): Did the test. Somehow passed it. Getting license on Tuesday ((don't ask))

Well, folks, that's about it. I wanna go to sleep and don't wake up till next year.
