So Mandy still hasn't truly warmed up to Bean yet. We've got some hissing and growling going on, but Bean hasn't given up on making Mandy her friend and if last night was any indication, Mandy might be starting to be a bit more tolerant. Check it out:

We’re definitely trying the playtime thing. Mandy seems to want to but then gets overwhelmed by Bean’s bouncing and pouncing and leaves the room. But we’re not giving up yet!

Our neighbors have three cats, one is a couple of years older than the other two. They got the second one a year before they moved here and they really like each other, sleep together etc. A year ago they got the third cat and, well, there's a reason everyone calls her "the little devil." The oldest cat now only eats at home, then goes outside again and the second cat sometimes isn't home for days. The oldest cat spends most of her time at our house/garden. We obviously can't kick her out of our backyard if she wants to sleep under the hedge, but it's kinda hard to kick her out of the house as well sometimes. If the weather is really bad she sleeps in our house most of the time :/
In comparison to the that, your cats are already best friends.

Aren’t they just precious when they’re sleeping? :-) Awake and they’re a totally different story! LOL!

Oh my gosh, yes! Wow, that’s a really bad situation your neighbor has. I guess animals are like people - they’ve got their own personalities and not everyone is going to get along, just as we don’t like everyone we meet.
