Star Trek con quickie
Hey guys! OMG, I just finished the hour long meet and greet with Connor Trinneer and Dominic Keating and it was AWESOME!
They are both so nice and so funny, especially Dominic! He was off the hook! LOL! And did I mention that Connor is even more drop dead gorgeous in person? [swoon]
There were 10 of us in the M&G, but it was only myself and two other gals who actually asked any questions. Strangely enough the conversation turned to Supernatural at one point. Dominic said that he's auditioned for the show many times and has never gotten picked, which totally blew my mind. And get this - Misha is Connor's good friend! I was the only SPN fan in the room, so I got their full attention, which was awesome. Anyway, you could tell that Connor is upset with the way Misha is being treated now and I was like, "Don't even go there. I hate the way things are going."
I just had a really, really good time talking to these guys, who I never thought I'd have the chance to meet. They talked about some hilarious pranks they played on Scott Bakula, about how awful it was to film in the EV suits and how apparently Jolene has the same farting issues that Jared does! LOL!
I was able to audio record it, so I'm going to go and do a partial transcript of the parts I really liked and post it for you guys next week.
And just as an aside - ST cons are...kinda scary. Talk about a totally different crowd from a Supernatural convention! Though I have seem some pretty cool costumes. And their vendors room is three times the size of the one at the SPN cons.
