Hey did you guys see the new SPN promo that ran during last night's episode? Rumor has it that this was the winning entry from the Making the Cut contest that was announced a few months ago.
Oh wow, this... wow! I love it. And yeah, I would like to see more of the boys but on the other hand, it's the scary stuff that draws in male viewers not the male-bonding there. So, whatever brings in more viewers, I'm all for it :)

God, I am SO tired of all this male viewer crap. It's like, if men aren't watching it, the show should be canceled. I'm tired, as a woman, as being treated like crap when it comes to any type of TV ratings. Um, hello? You know who holds most of the purse strings? Yeah, that'd be women, thank you very much.
Geez, sorry for the rant! It's nothing against your comment, just the male demographic stuff in general.
Unfortunately, that's exactly the demographic that the network determined to target. Because obviously, women don't watch scary stuff, they watch One Three Hill and 7th Heaven *rolls eyes*
It was the same problem we had with UPN and Sentinel. UPN was determined to have men watch that show and even though it was female viewers that pushed the show to number 2 on the network it was never good enough for them.
I'll never understand that attitude. Who cares who's watching it, as long as you've got an audience that makes the show successful?? Argh!
I thought it was interesting, but in light of the new spoilers? Kind of telling.
I think every pretty young thing who's ever been on the show was in there, with the reaction shots from Sam and Dean making it look like they were interacting with them all.
I liked the music though, and the overall atmosphere was good.
I would have liked more Sam & Dean, too, but if this was the best entry I guess it was the best entry. It was really unique, with the creepy-ass voiceover.
And they only had 8 episodes to work with (for which they were given specific clips), so they were a bit limited with what they could use. I love the closing shot on Dean, though - gorgeous.
Yeah, the voice over and creepy atmosphere is what rocked it for me, but I was missing the boys. You know, the stars of the show? :-)
Wow, I didn't know they only had 8 episodes to work with! The initial press releases just stated that the contestants would be provided with material, not that it was so limited. I wonder what made CW pick those 8 only.
Oh yeah, the closing shot of Dean was totally beautiful. :-)

(Of course, I don't watch for the skeery stuff, either. I sort of ignore that part. Gimme my boys!)

Yeah, I was like "wow, I didn't realize how many of the ghosts, etc. were women in this show!"

Strange coincidence? I was thinking the same thing.

I guess I never stopped to think just how many evil things on the show have been women.
I liked the music though, and the overall atmosphere was good
Me, too. Very creepy and the voice over was really cool.
