A couple of sketches
The woman on the left is from the NYU Starbucks a week or two ago; they guy on the right is from Sweet Priscilla’s just a couple hours ago. He was wearing some kind of goggles or eyeglasses, pushed up over his forehead - you can see how the strap is pulling in the hair at the back of his head - but I couldn’t make out the form of it clearly.
One thing I like about the Pentel Color Brush on the paper I’m using (Strathmore sketch, 400 series) is that the ink comes out grainy, a bit like charcoal. I had to fiddle with the scanner settings to bring that out here - lower contrast and higher resolution than I usually use for these things.
