2008 post!
Things have been going great the past month or so. Ryan and I are back to normal and as usual I am constantly amazed by our daughter. I am so in love with both of them. I think people who don't have kids may find it difficult to be in love non romantically. I guess it's just the constant knowledge of how blessed I am to have them both in my life. While neither is technically perfect, i love them exactly how they are and so they are perfect to me.
I'm living in WA now so I can get more schooling done. I could have done it in fort irwin, but i wouldn't have been able to take a full schedule and we both knew I wouldn't be able to do as well since ryan rarely has the time to help with abbey. I miss ryan, i miss our house, i miss our dogs, and basically our whole life together (not to mention my friends! love you guys!) but I know this is the best for our future. Plus I always feel so good about myself when im doing the whole mommy/student thing. Honestly I love school, and this quarter I'm taking a child development class which i'm super excited about. My future goals are preschool teacher and then pediatric speech language pathologist so it fits right in with that. I'm getting a early childhood education certificate so i can work while I'm getting my speech language pathology masters degree. Plus i'm looking for a job now, so that will be... an adventure, but a good one. I'm super excited for what the future holds and I have a feeling our family will just be stronger after this.
