Also resolution of her fear/unwillingness to commit.
Very good.

Glad you liked it, and a sequel might be a good way to work out the kinks. Thanx.

I can see this happening - the shutting out and the denial - both in here and in John-In-The-Box. It works for their characters, because they've got a lot of stuff pent up and stored in.
Really love this. (Thank heavens you and others are writing - it's been a long, hard gap between really good authors!)

Really love this and absolutely love: But Teyla will never admit or commit to anything, to him. She’ll keep running and he’ll run right behind her. Because yes, yes! This is so true to their relationship and the characterization we have so far in canon and my persoanl view of the characters ( ... )

I like your point, it's their similarities, their habit of keeping people away that keeps them apart.
And I have to agree with you about the cracks. Joe Flannigan is excellent at throwing those shifty looks, arms crossed, John trying to hide his emotions, hoping no one sees. Well,we have screens so...
I've often wondered who was running after whom? Who was denying the relationship? John or Teyla? And if you're right about the projection, then I'll need to think this through some more.
I just browsed too and recognized Unchartered Territory so I'll friend you back.
