Network Geeks, Ho!
Okay, so I'm looking at reviving my wireless network since I have an extra computer I can set up for my mom and my sister.
However, since the last time I did this, they appear to have bred several types of wireless network. I clearly need something that will go from my bedroom at the bottom of the condo to my mom's bedroom three floors up at the top of the condo. But what is this Wireless N versus Wireless G stuff? Is one better than the other? Do they really accelerate your network connection? How does that work? Any suggestions out there for a good vendor (linksys, netgear, whatever?) with reasonable prices?
