This ones going to be long (i think), so cut for your pleasure:
Homecoming has finally come to an end. As much as I hate the extra work and time put into it, I really do enjoy all the activities. The lovely ladies from EC placed in 3 events--which is i believe 3 more than last years homecoming. We Rock :)
Ive been immersed in the world of Harry Potter as of recently, trying to finish book four before the movie comes out--Ive been averaging 75 pages a day, so I think I will finish before then.
Last night was Rhea's Halloween Party. I dressed up as Faye from questionable content. No one really understood what my costume was...slightly disappointing. I will attempt to post some pictures--it was really rather ridiculous. I brought Mike along with me and it was fun- I woke up and found a bunch of coins and jewels that were left in my pockets from the night before. We watched a movie they made that was filled with randomness. A bit long, but very entertaining. It was good to hang out with Niki and Mandy outside of our usual gaming. I hope we get together for some katamari or mario party/ddr stuff. While there was a lot of people I didnt get a chance to talk to, I did meet one new person. Her name is Ally and she is a history/art major at SNC. We had fun bashing some of the art staff and it was nice having a conversation with someone new. While there, I also saw someone who made me really nostalgic- her name is Renee, and she looks scarily similar to April from Plainfield. It reminded me that its been forever since ive talked with April, and sadly, the prospects of seeing her anytime in the near future looks next to nil.
Today is going to be an odd day... Do any of you have a day/event that completely changed your life? Well, im sure you do, for instance, Brandon- recieving your papers- thats amazing, a big congradulations :) :)
Anyway, for me, I have a couple of events. 1. Getting into SNC- I realized what a drastic change I was making in my life and couldnt wait for the adventures to unravel in front of me. I was so excited...fear of leaving wasnt even in the picture. 2. October 30th 2003- I met someone who completely altered how I viewed the world. and 3. the most recent- January 23rd, 2005- I was sitting on a plane heading for Italy. The plane ride itself wasnt exactly special, but it was the kickoff of so many memories and adventures. I wont forget running through Charles De Gaulle Airport trying to catch the next plane or the taxi ride I shared with Greta to our housing agency. All three of these days I was so starry-eyed. These kinds of days are rare, but I am ready for another one.
Ahh memories.
