[second deception]

[Alice can appreciate good music.]

Why, that's really quite lovely.

[He would bow for you, Alice, but he's at odds as to your location!]

I am glad you could find some joy in it, Miss, ah--?

[Alice is elusive like that]

Alice! Alice Kingsleigh, at your service. Terribly lovely, father would have liked it too, so long as there wasn't any dancing involved, he did so dislike quadrille. I'm fairly certain that's where I got my distaste from, though I confess I do like a good Futterwacken.

And I, my dear, am Louis Piper.

[Insert extravagant courtly gestures here!]

It is a time for confessions, it seems, for I have no idea what a 'futterwacken' might entail?

Splendid, it's really quite the honor to meet you!

Oh, heavens -- I do seem to forget that none of you seem to be from my Underland, though this place really is rather similar, you'd thinking that at least one of you would have heard of it. Hm, It's a dance, actually - a very good one.

[She rounds a corner, walking her capybara, and...CRASH]

[Okay, so he has sought refuge far away from the girl with the curious craving for milk, and thusly abandoned all thought of remaining in his pod. It is with this in mind that he strikes out for the fresh open air and --

runs into a young lady?]

Beg pardon, miss.

[He tips his hat. No, he totally has not clued into the fact that this is the charming young lass he's been speaking with so recently on the communicator. He may be Greatly Deceptive, but when it comes to women, it's all Greek to him. And he abhors Greek.]

Tullywobble, get back here--

[She'd dropped the leash, and she scampers to grab it - really, she doesn't NEED to leash him, but for some Tully does seem to be as curious as his mistress.]

Terribly sorry, I--

Say, you don't happen to be the fellow I was just speaking with, hm? You sound terribly similar. [She waves the device.] Intonations a bit off, but I find this magic box does like to distort things now and again.

Ah!

[LIGHTBULB!]

Miss Alice, then? A pleasure to meet you in person.

[And now, bow he does!]

[Alice beams, then dips into a curtsy. It's a bit awkward - she hates doing it, but he's bowed and really, one really must show proper respect when necessary. It'd be terribly rude not to, after all. She tugs Tullywobble back.]

Yes, Alice - I'm sorry, what was your name again? [The comms off at this point.]

[Such a well-mannered girl. Audrey could take lessons.

... Well, no. Part of Audrey's charm is that she is so wild and fierce. But it is a comment he might say to her, regardless.]

Louis, dear Alice.

It's really quite lovely to meet you, Louis - I must say, you play fantastically well, it's really such a pleasure to hear such things come over these magical little things as opposed to the chatter of this that and the other that usually passes through. It's a bit tiresome sometimes don't you think? Of course, terribly informative, yes, can't quite discount that, but tiresome all the same. Noisy lot, really.
