Well, because of a post on the country music lj board am now listening to my Chris LeDOux cd and remmebreing why I love his music so much...
This Cowboy's HAt, Life is a Highway, BAng A Drum, Cadillac Ranch... I could go on, but there all good.
JoReK was not so hot yesterday but she is feeling a little better today, so obviously we did not get the wii.
Robin Hood is on tonight, I have not gottne to wacth any of the extras on my dvd's yet but I will. By the way, in RObin Hood there is a fellow named Richard Armitage who plays Guy of Gisbourne. He also plays a characte named Thornton in some other BBC tv movie. I have been told that THornton blows Mr Darcy out of the water as far as people who like that sort of thing are concerned.
I can't beleive that filly won the Belmont yesterday. I was going to bet on her just for the historical significance, but I didn't and then she went ahead and won, darn it. I would only have placed a two dollar bet, so it wouldn't be much of a payout, but I wouldn't have cashed it in, because it would only hbave bene historical significance as far as I am concerned. But seeing the filly win makes me think of how awful what happenedd to Ruffian was, and for a race that was amde up. THey killed that horse for no reason and she was a champion. There was apparently a moive about her yesterday but I didn't see it.
A writer in the local pape challenged the person who catches Bonds 756 to write a big asterisk on it and throw it back... I wonder... People are saying all the AROd haters will be lovers once Bonds breaks it, since ARod for all his faults is not yet connected to steroiuds and he is the next one with a chance to break it.
