(no subject)
Hello, all. This is my first post ever, so please excuse the lack of a cut, for I know no html code. I hope to start posting more, and look into that html coding so you lovely people don’t have to pay attention to my real life rants. On to the more important stuff…
On May 13th, 2007, my house burned down. Everything was destroyed, and one of my beloved cats died in the fire. My parents and I lived in a rental home where everything was broken or poisoned (I’m not exaggerating here) until the 28th of last August. We finally moved into our new house, and I’m finally settled enough to write this to thank everyone for being so supportive, if unknowingly. All of your absolutely amazing work and dedication to that work really helped me through that difficult time, and even feel happy. I always knew that after a tiring or emotionally draining day I could go on lj and find something to make me smile. So thank you so so much for writing your amazing fanfiction and drawing your amazing art.
Unfortunately, yesterday MSN decided to go crazy, and all my favorites since February have disappeared. This means that I’ve lost all of my next-gen and cross-gen (especially Snarry) favorites, a lot of my art favorites, and anything that anyone has written in the past eight months. So if anyone could take a few minutes to recommend anything new or old that you think I would like, I’d really appreciate it. Even original fiction would be great.
On a happier note, I decided to sign up for the holiday art exchange Winnett is hosting. This will be my first Harry Potter exchange of any kind, so I’m very excited about that. Hopefully I’ll manage something other than stick figures, since I seem to be doing pretty well in my art class at school.
