I looked up some polls on the most popular Buffy character. Most of the time, the most popular character shifted between Spike and Willow. I have to ask: why do people like Spike?

I like Willow cos she's lovable, kind, and kicks serious ass.

Spike is whiny and annoying and I honestly do not give two fucks about him. He bothers me. He needs to get staked.
