Out of curiousity, was this meant to be a poem, or a song?

Either way, it's brilliant. And I guess poems and songs are basically the same thing, aye?

If it was meant to be a song- it has this certain rhythm and as I read it, my mind starts frantically searching for the perfect tune that belongs (and I emphasize "belongs" to this poem. This poem demands the perfect tune!

Content wise, this poem highlights some very real and contemporary issues. It feels that it is written from a very personal place, giving read it a unique experience.

This poem, even though it may appear simplistic, addresses a very real emotion. Moreover, it's simplistic structure further emphasizes the emotion and energy behind the poem, "Cannot function / Cannot be bothered / Cannot Care".

As Damien said, at one stage or another, a person is bound to feel "Blank". I enjoyed how you captured this in words. It's difficult to do. When I feel blank, my poetry would not turn out as inspired as this one. It would be the word "Bleh" repeated a hundred times over.

Nicely done, my friend!
