Summer time...and the living is easy...
I don't even remember the last time I posted. Hmmm. Where has the time gone?
I've registered for the last semester at the community college. Amen for that. Then I can transfer and we can work on getting the hell out of this place. But in the mean time...
K has finally gotten some time off for this summer. So far we've gone camping in the mountains in Georgia and stuffed ourselves silly at a cajun buffet my boss's brother owns. We've also been camping on the Blue Ridge Parkway and almost eaten by a bear. That was amusing. We have a trip planned to Charleston during the last week of July and thank God because I miss the beach something fierce. I think she does too. I am excited to do a ghost tour.
Aside from that, I've been working and I have one class this semester. I have been doing a lot of landscaping work for my boss which is fabulous because that means more money to cover the stuff piling up right now like medical bills. I actually have to make the decision between paying for next semester or getting my fillings in my teeth. Hmmm. When did I become a grown-up?!
I'm excited for tomorrow. I have had the desire lately to get back into biking. I used to LIVE on my bicycle when I was younger and fitter, and I want that back. I just have this picture of me on a bike riding for miles and miles and well...yeah. Anyways, tomorrow, we are picking up our bikes from the shop. We sold the old beater that I was riding and I am going to upgrade K's bike. She's going to buy a new one tomorrow. I will for sure be posting pictures. I can't wait to get back on the bike. Literally.
