Life, lately.
I have come to the realization that I really LOVE learning. I'm such a dork!! I started the new semester on Monday and I'm taking day classes again and working at night. I have one more semester left of 9 credits and then my two year degree is completed and I can transfer to the university here. I can hardly wait. I've gotten the best start here and it's lame to say it, but I'm actually worried about the quality of the professors when I get to the university level. I just hope they are as passionate as the ones I've had so far at the community college level! If I hadn't taken the classes I've been in here, I wouldn't have come to realize my love for sociology. We only have a few classes offered here and I've had almost all of them, so I am eager to get started on more!
In other news, our family is so stinkin' adorable!! I had two classes this morning and had to get my oil changed. I didn't get back until about 1 (I have the day off) and we left Nala out with Bob for the first time. She has been staying in our office while we are not home, and then coming out to explore/interact until we go to bed. She has gotten to know Bob's territory vs. hers and is such a cute little learner.
I came home to them CUDDLING on the floor together. You have to keep in mind that Bob didn't want anything to do with her when we brought her home. He never did anything violent, but he did get his hissing game on. And now he GROOMS her and PLAYS with her!! It is just the cutest thing ever. And it warms my heart to know that our big (emphasis on big) cat has such a paternal heart in him!! He's a good big brother.
