Half way there?

Word count: 40,000
Motivation: Knitting

This year this whole process has been different to say the least.  I have been getting a lot of words out per day, it just doesn't fill like it at all. Right now I am getting about 3k a day. As far the the actual movement of teh book though, it doesn't feel like that. It feels like things are taking forever to get out. Not that the plot is slow moving or boring. Just that when I see that I wrote 2k I'm just like, really? It doesn't feel like that at all. nothign has even happened! Maybe it's just because I have wrote this story so many times. I feel myself getting to the very end of this story. I'm ready to have it all written out and to start editing and getting it moving.

Today I am hoping to get to 50k, which will be about my halfway mark in this story. Somehow the book is just this long, no matter how much I have tried to consendce it. It just wants to be along apparently.

So to reach this mark, I am using devices to get myself moving. The plan is this: write 1k and then get to knit for 5 minutes. I am just going to keep doing that 20 times and I will be there!

Wish me luck.

How is everyone else doing?
