Rookie blue returns

Rookie Bliue is coming back on the 16th! I am so happy. Especially since so many of my favorite shows have been being cancelled...but more on that later. Rookie Blue was one of my all time favorite summer shows last year and I am so happy it is go ing to be back. Two of my crushes back on tv(McNally and peck if you did not know.) I am happy happy.

I'll be watching Rookie Blue too. Curious where they take the series. Nice to know something besides Pretty Little Liars will have new episodes airing this summer.

BTW have you seen a Canadian series called Lost Girl? It's a supernatural series and I think the right comparison for it would be a book series called the Hollows. Both involve a bisexual, supernatural female lead who's involved in a love triangle between a hetero male and a lesbian character. Both start off promising until they start to infuriate the fans routing for the lesbian. Since both are heavily bias towards the hetero pairing and treats the "triangle" the way you would expect Hollywood would. Basically it's straight the whole way with some instances of bi-curiosity. And both have done a poor job at characterization that they end up making most of the cast unlikeable save the lesbian. Which sucks since the lesbian has the least amount of screentime and is treated badly by the other characters.

I haven't reached the point of getting that infuriated by Lost Girl since I haven't seen all the episodes yet, but I have a feeling I will once Showcase starts the series from the beginning again. In this case the bisexual lead is named Bo and the lesbian is Lauren. Many people feel like Lauren is too good for Bo and should find herself a woman who will appreciate her.

Anyways I brought up Lost Girl because if you want to check out a series with a cool canon lesbian, Lost Girl has one. Just prepare to hate everything else in the series. BTW Lauren is played by Zoie Palmer, who use to be on a series called the Guard, is real life friends with Rachel McAdams and kind of looks like fellow Canadian Sarah Polley.

Good news about Lost Girl is that the whole first season was filmed before it even aired, so the creators couldn't make changes due to fan request. So there's a possibility the series might not go the route of the Hollows if Michelle Lovretta is smarter than Kim Harrison. And if the creators listen to the fans, they'll know to treat Lauren better because if this poll is any representation of the general audience, nearly 70& of Lost Girl fans are Lauren fans. Don't think the creators want to piss them off.

Good to hear life is working out and you believe you might know what you're planning on doing. Just hope there isn't much violent crimes where you're from since we wouldn't want to lose you.

I am really excited fir Rookie Blue and excited to see whee they are going to be going the show this season. And it is even better that is is pre miring the same week as pretty little liars. I am so excited for the new season.

I haven't heard about that show. But maybe I will see if I can watch it online. Seems like a good show and it doesn't surprise me that that is how they would handle a bisexual character. That seems to be the quota with Hollywood and their portrayal.

There isn't much crime here and plus I am planning on moving back to my hometown which is a really small town. But of course there is still that risk.
