random slashy fandom blatherings, and a meme for the second time...
well well...i have to admit my slashy passions are expanding! whilst harry potter and oz remain at the top of the heap, and fitz/the fool will always have a place in my heart, the ABC has been putting on a heap of british shows just ripe for slashing! i dont know if anyone else has been watching life on mars, but i swear...there's something going on between sam and gene...everytime i watch it i cant help but analyse everything they do to find the love lust between them! its so there...
and ABC's current version of robin hood...now much and robin is just far too obvious a pairing, what i think is that guy of gisborne has a thing for robin...all that hostility can only herald one thing - unresolved sexual tension!
actually...i think that's my theory behind most of my various fandoms OTP's...the vast majority of them cant stand each other in canon...i mean draco and harry "hate" each other, beecher and keller are always arguing, fitz keeps spazing out at the idea of the fool loving him, gene has a bad habit of throwing sam into walls, and guy's very aim in life is to bring down robin hood! it's a conspiracy i tell you! or maybe i just like all the angst that such pairings can bring ;) fluffy, canon stuff just doesnt do anything for me...we need conflict!
and im still convinced that in tad williams' dragonbone chair series, jiriki and simon had something going...now thats a paring you cant find any fanfic for! its just not the same if you write it yourself...
but enough blabbering about manly love, ah...i was about to change the subject with a florish until i realised i had nothing else to say...ummm...i cant wait til the holidays - only a week away! and tanya, tell me whats happening with that dead caeser plan... ;)
