(late) new years resolution - start updating REGULARLY

i have been inspired to update my journal after my long period of absence by my amazingly extraordinary stupidity! now, since i havent updated in ever none of you would know that i was meant to be on work placement this week at CSC metal fabrications (anyone need a custom toolbox or switchboard cover...???). but alas, me in my infinate brilliance managed to render myself incapable of working after 2 hours on the second day! yep, i managed to inflict a gapping wound on my left fore-arm with an evil sheet of stainless steel. what happened was that i had been drilling holes in it, which was fine for the most part, until i was given a bigger drill piece to use...this drill piece proceeded to catch on the metal, spin it around and cut my arm as i reached up to stop the machine. i then proceeded to bleed all over the floor, freak one of the guys who i was working with out (he was more shaken than i was), rush to the gateway medical centre (i dont know why we went there...) and wait for half an hour until i threatened to bleed on their carpet...and when they finally saw me i was given 8 pretty blue stitches! though the doc who saw me had such a thick accent i couldnt understand him, and my wound started pissing out blood about 5 hours after he stitched me up...now that i think about it, it might have been because of the bandaid he used bandage me up! it was seriously little more than a normal bandaid, and i had to go back later to get it properly dressed, you know...with actual bandages!

*tear* but alas i am off work placement for the rest of the week and still have 28 hours to do... :(

i shall update about the rest of my life later...when my arm doesnt hurt so much...
