my mother really is most unreasonable. we were talking about cats and cat names, and specifically the way cats seem to grow into their names - assuming they have a name they can grow into...i dont think sox grew more socky as he went along...though bandit is most definately living up to hers. anyway, i expressed an interest in naming our next cat loki - which i think is completely reasonable and would fit a cat better than any other animal. now, for some reason mother didnt agree - she seemed to think that naming a cat after the god of mischief lies and treachery, naming a cat after the trickster himself, was asking for trouble. i really dont understand, cats are mischeivious liers form birth, so it is a simply purrfect (yes, lame pun, i know)name in my opinion. she felt so strongly about this that she swore never to have a cat with that name under her roof - and if i insisted of naming the next one that we would simply not get another...it was most strange...
in other news, painting is expected for next week (we are actually buying the paint tomorrow). if you lovely volunters would be so kind to note down good/bad days i would be most abilged ;)
and haha! im seeing the new pirates of the carribean tomorrow! *squee* squidman will be mine!!!
