Well, so I realize it's been a while. But if any of you actually cared, you could call. But since it's summer, and I have a bit more free time (I've officially sworn off agreeing to do anything that doesn't directly relate to my thesis research) I thought an update was in order.
Life is good. The summer started with me taking a week off to go white-water rafting with Evan on the Yampa in western colorado. Awesome time, only dimished slightly by the fact that I was sick as a dog the whole time.
I officially have quit the old advisor. I'm going to try to get out a paper, but who know what is actually going to happen on that front.
As for the new job, I think it's going fantastically. More on this later.
