Life is great!
I'm starting to feel better. I'd been down for awhile because of my allergies and it seems either they're getting better, or I'm staying medicated enough. I actually wanted to die the other night I felt so awful, and I considered calling in. But, I started feeling better and didn't.
I got my tax refund check finally. It's a huge weight off of my back. I'm now debt free and have a little money left over. I went shopping today and got some really cute clothes on sale. I've been wanting to get some new clothes for awhile now, but knew I couldn't afford it.
I also got my vacation time approved. I'll be off from 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24 to Monday, June 30 at 10 p.m. I cannot wait! I need a vacation, so bad. I'm going to plan a mini-vacation and actually go somewhere. I'll probably end up putting myself back in debt again. It will be worth it.
I also am up for my one-year review. It's hard to believe I've been a full-time producer for a year now. My boss said all I have to do is file the paperwork from my self-review, we go over it together and I get my raise, almost a dollar extra per hour. It's in my contract, so I'm guaranteed the raise, I just have to follow procedure.
Today, is my Friday. I am going to vote when I get off, drop off my laundry for someone else to do, and then head to breakfast with my mom and sister. I also need to go get some kind of spray to keep my cat from pissing on my rugs. I was counting last night and I think I've gone through about eight rugs since I moved in a year ago. Two of those were from water damage when my apartment flooded, but the rest are because of the cat pissing or shitting on them.
I'll do a little cleaning and then get a little sleep before I get to hang out with my wonderful boyfriend and his little brother later tonight.
To top off the day, it's going to be 80 degrees and sunny. I couldn't be more excited.
