It has been a wonderful day. I think I got a little full of myself from all of the positive comments made to me, though.
I started my day with e-mails about my columns. I was quite shocked about what some of them said, but very flattered as well. They caught me off guard at least.
A few quotes (so I can brag some more...haha): "You are my new hero." "I simply had to let you know that you are communicating your ideas extremely well, and I look forward to seeing your byline as often as possible." And, possibly my favorite: "I think you guys do a great job with the Horizon, but if Crazy hair never wrote another article, I'd be ok with that."
Hehe.
I was soon after approached by a stranger and flattered again because he told me I had beautiful eyes. We chatted for a bit.
I was early to my lit. class so I could study, but a couple of people visiting from the Netherlands were touring the school. I spoke with the lady for probably 20 minutes about life here and there. It was really interesting. She said she could probably go on talking to me for days, but their tour guide was getting impatient.
I felt very confident today. That's a rare thing for me, really. I liked it, though. It makes me want to be better all around.
I think I did well on my geography quiz, too.
Last night was my first time at WHAS alone. I think I did pretty well. The producer was making changes to the script at the last minute but she apologized and other people stepped in to help me get everything straight. That wasn't anything I could help, though.
Anyway, I'm going to go relax for a bit because I have to be in bed by 8:00 tonight so I can be at work at 3:30 a.m.
I hope everyone else had a wonderful day as well. Goodnight.
