IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT: Hazmat July 17th
So, Faith and I decided to scout out the Pineville area to locate the "Players Club and Lounge" where the next Hazmat is slated to be held. We had never heard of the place and never saw it on N. Polk/Lancaster/Pineville/South Blvd/521 South. (Who the fuck came up with so many goddamned names for one tiny stretch of useless backwater road anyway?!)
Using Faith's iPhone and alot of patience, we did manage to locate the address, but it is NOT Players Club and Lounge, and it does NOT have a sign. It's actually Players Sports Bar, and it's located in a hard-to-find parking lot with a large green Golf Village or Golf Course sign. It's basically a sports bar right in the crotch of an L-shaped building that hosts a putt-putt golf course, and it's located between the south end of Morrow Ave. and College Street, north of Pineville-Matthews/51, on the eastern side of the road (so if you're coming from 485, it'll be on your left). Once we found it, we immediately thought there was no way that would be enough parking. Then we saw the overflow area to the right just as we entered the lot and sighed in relief.
The only reason we knew it was called Players Sports Bar was because the semi-circle facade at the crotch of the L had those words. The street sign only identifies the place as a Golf Village or Golf Course. Anyone not familiar with the building would pass it up a dozen times without realizing what it was...unless they had a GPS or iPhone.

I wanted to post this for those who have never been to Pineville, have never been to the Players Sports Bar, have never had to deal with the lousy way the parking lots along that stretch of road are frikkin suicide to attempt entry or exit during normal-to-high traffic times, and who might get lost or give up trying to find the damned place.
Hope this gets around and helps out a few gothy-type peeps! Please forward this or pass it along by rote to those not on my LJ list! :D
