Searching?
I know that a lot of people label themselves "agnostic" when they are questioning the faith in which they were raised. "I believe something, but I don't know what," is the statement I commonly hear.
For me, this is not the case at all. I am agnostic, strong agnostic, and its not a transitional point. I'm not searching for religion for sure. I'm spiritually comfortable as an agnostic. My belief is simply that we can't possibly know if there is a god, and if there is one, we couldn't possibly define him/her/it. I pretty comfortable with the understanding that religion was created as a means to explain the things that happen in nature and everyday life, and then exploited as a way to control or profit off of people. Of course, I'm always trying to learn new things, but looking for religion? Nope. I'm perfectly content as an agnostic, and I always will be.
