that article about konzen's spoof myspace in this morning's paper was a huge dissapointment. people made it sound like that was the main focus of the article when it was really about myspace in general and only devoted two small paragraphs to marist.

i'll concede that it's a bit rediculous that the school is tracking us over the internet. still, i have to comment on the stupidity of a lot of students. here's the deal: we know the school reads ljs and xangas, so why would myspace be any different? and if we know the school reads myspace, why the hell are you making incriminating posts? it does not make sense. if you don't want those in positions of power to find out about something you did then don't post it on the internet. if you don't want someone to read something, don't write it down. the logic couldn't get any simpler.

again, i'm not in favor of the school using our myspaces against us. in fact i believe the only difference between marist and the geshtapo is marist has executed anyone in a back room yet. still, you know they're gonna read it so why post anything incriminating?
