go me?

So I went to the mailbox expecting to find my Woot (an fm transmitter for my Zen) that I ordered a week ago since the delivery info said it was in Fredericksburg at 11 am.  It was not there.  This made me sad.  I'd like to test out my $10 gamble.

What was there was an envelope (large) from the University of Mary Washington's graduate school.  I figured maybe they were sending me something to fill out as a way of following up on my January meeting, where I only asked if it were possible and that I was considering applying if it was possible.  So imagine my surprise when I open the envelope to find a congratulations letter, offering me admission as a part-time student, starting this summer.  For a second I thought it was one of those form type letters where they offer admission to everyone or maybe there was another person with the same name.  But enclosed was another sheet of paper with all my qualifying courses for the licensure in Latin and M.Ed., completely with an "in progress" for the Latin course I'm taking now.

Yeah, I never applied as any kind of student for the summer, because I was looking more at the April 15th deadline for fall admission.  The application for readmission is still sitting on my desk.  I know I'm kind of awesome, but I never thought that I was so awesome that I'd get semi-unsolicited admissions offers.
