Hopefully one day I will post what Carboxytherapy is. I will definitely post a video :)
There is no record of the first visit and I intend to keep it that way. It was painful and I was not prepared.
This time as usual I laid down and the nice nurse disinfected my face with probably 70% alcohol since I could barely breath. Then it started. If you have seen my face from the pictures of the Acctane post then you should know that the left side of my face is most scarred.
This time I seriously had prepared myself mentally but it somewhat felt more painful. Especially on the left side of me face, chin area. Forehead was alright but the tempels hurt pretty much as well. I believe it is because my skin had not completely healed from the first treatment. My coping solution was humming.
What's interesting is that when she injected around my eyebrow area I could practically see the thin blood vessels and something streaming through them. I did not have my eyes closed completely when this happened and even when I closed my eyes I could still see them. It passed by quickly.
In the end as a finish I asked her to stick it close to my dark circles. My dark circles are not that noticeable but since I do not use any kind of make-up it shows. I believe it will reduce the thins smilelines along my eyes. The last injection made my eyes really puffy. It is still puffy on the second day and by puffy I mean the entire eye sockets to eyelids.Called in to the clinic to ask why my eyes were both puffy. The nurse explained that it was because of a high dosage of Carboxy injection and the puffiness would fade within a few hours. It did not since it was still puffy by the time I went to sleep but on the next morning I looked perky as ever ;)
I am not looking forward to my next visit.
