Chapter 5
Junsu sat in the dining room with Ea. The tea in his mug smelled like jasmine and not to mention that the flowers in it made the tea looked even more delicious. He took a sip letting the tea roamed around his mouth, truly savoring its taste. The traces of the tea left a sweet taste on the tip of his tongue and he let out a groan.

“Do you like it?” Ea who sat at the other end of the table asked. She had tasted hers but clearly her reaction to it was not the same as Junsu’s.

“It’s the best tea ever. Where did you buy these dried up tea leaves?”

Ea hid a smile behind her mug, “It was sent over from my hometown. And after brewing this tea so many times I can’t really taste its difference from water anymore.”

“I hope I’m not bothering you with this sudden visit.” Junsu was shy and really wanted to hide himself. Ea was such a nice and beautiful woman. She has fair smooth skin and her long silky shoulder length black hair framed her fair face perfectly.

“Oh, not at all Junsu. Changmin has already told me a lot about you. He just won’t shut up even when I tell him too.”

“I hope it’s only all good things.”

It was lunch by now and Junsu hasn’t eaten anything yet. His stomach growled and Junsu quickly held a hand over it trying to cover the noise. He looked up at Ea who smiled at him and asked, “Are you hungry? I haven’t had dinner yet, care to join me?”

Junsu was more than happy and nodded in acceptance. He went to help Ea in the kitchen by washing the vegetables. The freezing cold water was like ice spears stinging his hands. He hissed and would remove out his hands from time to time before dipping them in again.

Ea was initially not paying any attention to Junsu but focused on peeling potato skin. Once she noticed Junsu’s dilemma, she immediately removed him from the task and asked him to cut the onions and egg plants instead.

Deep inside Ea knew Junsu was a good kid, and not to mention he had the patience of a saint. He would be a perfect match for Changmin but she was now more afraid of the misfortune Changmin may bring into Junsu’s life.

“You know I’m not that good at cooking so the both of us should just try to do our best!”

Junsu wiped the sweat from his forehead as he answered, “Of course! I’ll do my best.”

The both of them returned their focus to the tasks and didn’t speak until all the ingredients had been prepared. When Ea took out a big frying pan the size of a crescent moon, Junsu knew she was not kidding. Ea could barely hold the pan without spilling its content and Junsu was not any better. Ea glanced at the vegetables and decided to cook the minced meat with garlic.

Once the fragrance of the cooked meat reached her nostrils she asked Junsu to hand her the chicken broth. She also added black soy sauce and waited for the sauce to settle into the meat before put in the sliced egg plants. Junsu helped her lift the pan when it was ready. In the same manner Junsu helped Ea prepared two other side dishes and also bamboo soup.

Just when Junsu was placed the chopsticks on the table Changmin had entered into the kitchen. He did not know whether to cry out in joy at the sight of the food or to lecture Ea at the mess the kitchen was in. He decided that the first option sounded much better so quickly sat down and picked some of the radish, wanting to taste it.

Before the radish could reached his mouth Junsu had stolen it from him and put it in his own mouth instead. He swallowed before saying, “You should wait for Ea.”

A warm steaming soup was placed on the centre of the table and Changmin accepted his own bowl and chopsticks from Junsu.

“These were prepared for you by Junsu so appreciate it!” Ea proclaimed.

Changmin dug in wolfing down all that was placed in his bowl by Ea. With his mouth full he promised, “Don’t worry I will.”

And he was true to his words as the food quickly disappeared from all the plates in just a few seconds. Junsu knew he had to hurry if he wanted to fill his stomach.

“Easy now wolfy, we don’t want you to choke to death.”

With his mouth still full Changmin still managed to stuff the last mouthful of his rice in before placing his bowl down. “This is the best dinner I’ve ever eaten!”

Junsu was already finished and waited for Changmin. Ea looked at his bowl and found the same amount of rice she had given to him. The boy clearly has not eaten much but he was merely watching Changmin all the time.

“Junsu, are you sure you’re not going to eat anymore? Your bowl is still full.”

“I got fed up just by watching Changmin eat.”

Changmin who heard this twitched in his seat and looked guiltily at Junsu.

“Omo, I’m just kidding. I think the heat is getting to me because I haven’t really been hungry since Monday.”

Changmin’s face immediately turned worried. He raced into the kitchen and took a new bowl for Junsu. Filling it with soup he was closed to feeding it to Junsu but was stopped by Junsu who said he could do it himself.

Ea looked at them from the side noticing how comfortable Changmin was with Junsu. They might just be a match made in heaven. She then left them alone and went out to watch her shop.

Junsu noticed that Ea has disappeared through the door and placed his bowl of soup down on the table. “Changmin I’m full already so there is no need to stuff me with food. What will you do if I get fat?”

Changmin just sat there and stared at Junsu. Was it love emitting from those orbs or he merely found Junsu too beautiful to look away from? His eyes seemed glued to that baby face and the twinkle in those eyes, continuing staring into them.

With a small sly smile on his face Junsu bent forward and licked the corner of Changmin’s mouth. Changmin didn’t how to react to that and stayed frozen in his seat.

“You got some rice there.” And Junsu motioned to the corner of his own lips showing Changmin where the rice had been.

“Will you help me clean that up?”

“Sure.” That was the only reply Junsu got but he was satisfied with Changmin’s reaction. Junsu went into the kitchen to wash the plates while Changmin dried them putting them back on the shelf. When Junsu was finished he walked over to help Changmin.

After he slipped his arms around Changmin’s waist linking his hands together and asked, “Can we watch a movie after you’re done?”

Changmin nearly dropped the plate he was holding but luckily he held on to it and placed it on the top level of the shelf. Junsu has to drag him over to the couch for him to hurry up.

The TV was already on and Junsu was fumbling through his bag. He finally found what he was looking for and he inserted the video before pushing play. He went back to the couch and draped Changmin’s arm over his shoulder.

“What are we watching?”

“My favorite movie, Pride and Prejudice.”

The movie started and Junsu leaned on Changmin, who felt like a comfy armchair where he could lie back and snuggle with. The deeper he dug in the warmer and more nostalgic he felt.

Junsu had no idea how much time has passed. He had lost focus the moment Changmin caressed his hand when he was reaching for popcorn. His heart was thumping and Junsu’s entire being shook as he swallowed down this unknown feeling.

Slowly he drifted off to sleep. Changmin who was still awake looked at the adorable face lying in the crock of his arms. Junsu’s long eyelashes were moving and eventually he started squirming in his sleep. As if being haunted Junsu suddenly jerked up and panted heavily.

Changmin held Junsu close to him, hushing him like a baby and made soothing circles on Junsu’s back. “A dream, it’s only a dream.”

When Junsu realized what had happened he regained his composure and fixed his hair and face, wiping away the tears on his cheeks and sneezed into a napkin.

“It’s nothing. Nothing. I was just dreaming.” He looked around and saw that it was already dawn. “Is the movie finished? I need to go home before my parents send out a patrol group to look for me.” He smiled and kissed the back of Changmin’s hand.

“I’ll send you back.” Changmin took out the DVD and placed it back into the folder. Junsu threw it into his bag and hurried towards the door. Behind him Changmin followed holding his keys and locked the door.

On the way back they held hands and that somewhat calmed Junsu down. His eyes were no longer searching for the invisible and the agitated feeling had disappeared. “I hope we can spend the rest of our lives like this.”

“Me too.”

Soon they arrived in front of the Junsu’s gates and bid Changmin goodbye. Their intertwined hands lingered for a moment both of them refusing to let go. In the end they let go and parted ways.

Since Changmin had nothing to do he went to an internet café and ordered a ramen cup before sitting down at nr. 10. Settling there he opened up the browser and typed in #BR.Graveyard.CH

The screen turned black and it showed rose vines growing at the corner of the screen. A skull with hollow eyes and a red bloody rose decorated its the mouth appeared followed by *Welcome to grave(y)ard*.

Barbieface: Did you see Mrs. Yom’s face when she saw the cockroach in her coffee?

Babaroll: It was priceless! xD

Shaky: Did she drink it? I saw her chewing, maybe she thought it was a sugar cube.

Phantom: Hahahaha, hope she eats a rat next time!

Masquerade: Let’s post Mr. Han’s naked pictures on all the school boards! I took three of him masturbating after gym class.

Watermelon: I’ll help since I’ve got two shots myself. He’s really sick in the head, how disgusting of him.

Babaroll: I think we should do something about the twins.

Barbieface: Totally agree.

Watermelon: Won’t it be dangerous since they are the principal’s kids?

Phantom: We have a sissy here :P

Watermelon: Whatever, we need to be careful and not let anyone know about it.

Masquerade: I agree with watermelon. Do you think Pilot is here?

Shaky: I bet he’s reading all this and is too scared to write anything.

Barbieface: Hey new kid! We know you’re reading this #O scared that we might slice off your bo…

Changmin logged out and ran out of the café. During the time he was reading what they wrote the café had suddenly seemed so much smaller and more suffocating. He kept running and in the end came to a stop on top of a bridge.

From there he could see cars driving passed in a hurry and people walking while chatting on their phones. They were all busy with their individual lives and had hardly any time to think of others.

Among one of them there could be a member from the Grave(y)ard. He became even more frightened of the possibilities of that happening. He needed to warn them, Junsu and his brother. The next time he saw Junsu, he would tell him to be careful of…of who?

He felt miserable knowing he was powerless not being able to protect those dear to him. He was always so powerless whether it was in love or life no matter how much he fought.

But this love, he was going to protect no matter what.
