For the first time in a year, my family visited us.
It was a very nice visit, if a little hot. We must get air conditioning next year! It's not that 38 C is so hot. It's that going from -40 C to 40 C is a huge temperature change to get used within 6 months. (-40 to 104 F, I think).
We borrowed N's mom's Echo. It was nice to drived a standard again. We visited the War museum, which is a very interesting museum despite the name. We convinced my dad to eat at our favourite vietnamese spot. (and he loved it). and we brunched all together on Sunday.
I wish they will come more often now that they've seen where we live :S
We will find out today if we can financement for a new car.
We decided on a Hyundai Elantra Limited 2009. Colour to still be determined. I can't wait for them to give us the okay. Taking the bus is alright, but taking a car is much faster.
