My Baby is all grown up
Yesterday, my daughter become an adult at least spiritally. She led the congregation in worship, gave a little speach and all in all did a EXCELLENT job. Afterwards, we had a celebration at our house.
Notes for next time: buy half the food. Pay someone to put up and take down the tent -- putting up, not so hard, taking down well we almost did it ourselves, but the pros had to take out the last 3 stakes. Don't plan on accomplishing anything more than some of the clean up on the Sunday afterwards.
Suprises: I did not cry. My mom did cry. Two sets of MY aunts and uncles made it in from quite a distance. This made me very very happy.
