Police Search for Missing Woman's Body
Woman at Center of Shocking Murder Has Troubled Past

Sardis, MS - Right now, all authorities have to go on is a hand-drawn map.... a map drawn by Melissa Harrisa - the woman who shot her companion right in front of law officers in Florida, after running from the law in Memphis which suspected her in the missing woman's death.
People in Sardis say Deputy Eric Harris usually knows where the bodies are buried... but there's one body he can't find. He's one of dozens of Panola County Sheriff's Deputies looking for the body of a missing Memphis woman.
Corie Duckett disappeared in Mid-March. Police now think she was murdered by Jeffery Opp and Melissa Ferris. Ferris killed Opp, execution-style in front of Florida State Troopers, and then started singing like a bird. She says they dumped Duckett's body somewhere along Interstate 55. She even drew a map.
But the map isn't good enough to pinpoint one single area. So instead of hundreds of law officers looking... there are only dozens, keeping an eye out for anything abnormal... but even that is tough.
The biggest complicating factor in the search? Overgrowth. It's likely IF Duckett's body is here... it's covered in Kudzu by now.
Another thing puzzling detectives is Ferris' apparent knowledge of the area. She supposedly lived for years in Crenshaw, along the Panola/Quitman County line. If she was from the area, her map should make more sense.
For now, detectives remain hopeful, but somewhat skeptical as to whether they'll find Duckett's body here.
Panola County Chief Deputy Craig Sheley says they may have to bring Ferris here to pinpoint the spot. In the meantime, both Memphis and the DeSoto Sheriff's Department have offered their assistance in locating the body of Corie Duckett
I fucking grew up with Corie, I fucking worked with Amber. Fucking bitches.....crazy bitches at clubs..... I fucking hate them.... Corie was one of the best people in the fucking world and she didnt deserve to go down by the hand of that fucking cunt. She even shot her own bf in the head execution style in front of the florida cops and sang afterwards. I fucking hope that bitch dies. I cant even go on........I fucking miss you home girl.
