“I have a bad feeling about this.” Ellen stopped dead in her tracks; Michael didn’t realize in time and bumped into her.
“Oh come on,” he whined, “It’s not real. Ghosts don’t exist.”
“I don’t care, something still doesn’t feel right,” Ellen shuddered, “Let’s go home.”
“Ah come on,” Michael quipped, “Can’t always run away from everything that makes you uneasy.”
“I’m making a smart decision here,” Ellen started to lecture, when the heavy door fell shut behind them.
“Did you close the door?” Michael casually asked, but Ellen shook her head.
“I’m standing in front of you,” she started, “How do you - what was that?”
“What was what?” The room suddenly felt chill, and Michael turned around to open the door. “Let’s leave.”
“We can’t,” Ellen pointed out the closed bolts, “These are rusted shut.”
“There has to be another exit!” Thomas exclaimed, taking his girlfriend’s hand, “Houses have windows and garages and more doors!”
The door leading away from the room fell shut as he moved towards it, evidently trapping them inside.
“Next time you tell me you have a bad feeling, remind me to listen to you,” Thomas groaned.
“There won’t be a next time,” a voice from beyond the grave piped up, “Hello!”
