Two posts in two days!

Can you tell who has a weekend off?  Another morning at the beach for the dogs, it was super foggy, so not many people out and while muggy, not the stupid heat that came later in the day.  Rich had one tooth fully fall out and another molar barely hanging on by the end of the walk.  A bloody stick, but Mr. Intensity still insisted on being the dog to carry it the whole walk.  After a lazy afternoon, Rich and I headed out for an iced coffee/train at the mall outing.  One of the drawbacks of where I live is not having a back yard.  Doesn't matter much during the weekdays since I spend so much time outside.  So, to do our circle work/recalls/quick sits and downs we went to the mall after most of the stores had closed.  Pretty funny to be "training" to the sounds of elevator music and a small group of people gathered after finishing their Mother's Day dinners.  I didn't notice them, until I was asked, "is this performance art?"  Kemna is right, I should have said "yes" and put my hat on the ground.  ;-)  Our quick sits are kind of broken, clearly a gift of mine, since they resemble Vic's.  The vulturing is still in full force if I'm trying to walk away, but I'm still not sure how much I want to fight that other than having the option of him sitting upright for pictures.  Fun lazy weekend, two weeks of showing coming up, maybe three, still deciding on the 3rd.  My competition goal for Vic this year is to be Top 10 in all the regular classes (not Tournament, because I stop entering those when I have my Q's for the year).  He's up there in everything right now and it would be pretty cool to achieve.  Not as cool as what Stuart will most likely do, which is to be the top dog in everything, but still a fun goal to pursue, we have the USDAA's available and Vic is such a great USDAA dog, since he's good in all the classes.  :)

One of these days I'll get a good pictures of dual waving...

Got to love a run at the beach!

Rich outside our personal training area.  Notice how the right ear isn't quite the same prick as the left, I keep expecting it to fall down.
