12 weeks old!
Rich is 12 weeks old today, tomorrow will be 3 weeks since the crazy day I went to get him. He spent the morning hanging out at the park while I taught and then this early evening we hit a local outdoor market. I didn't realize how good that is for puppy socializing, so we'll be going back next week for the band, instead of the band's take down. Rich was much more curious about the things around him than before, but still very quick to focus on me if asked. Much friendlier with strangers, played tug, did his tricks and posed for pictures. Really, he's a great puppy, if a naughty one. Seriously, he's been asked 3 times to stop chewing on my books in the time it took me to write those sentences...
Today's group picture
Immediately after I took this picture, his left ear went up and he tried to kill the flowers. Fortunately, I know what his "naughty" ears look like and with a move that would make an NFL wide receiver proud, was able to save the flowers from a vicious death.
Much less drama posing in front of the baskets...
Dog show tomorrow, today's practice with Vic went much better than Wednesday. Not sure if that's a good or bad sign, but I'm looking forward to the show. :-)
