Coping with Fireworks
Well last night was the first big fireworks night around here. Swift got upset, but didn't totally check out like he's done in the past. So thats a good sign the medication is working. Tempie didnt care much...until our neighbor lit off an M80 in his backyard. That one freaked her out and she was spooky for the rest of the night. I kept Swift away from her so she didn't pick up his behavior. Quake of course is wondering what all the fuss is about. I swear you could lite a firecracker under his butt and he wouldn't care. Today I took them out to the park to play frisbee and there were some pops in the distance, but there were TOYS involved so Swift didn't care. Tempie didn't show any interest in them at all, so that is good. We'll see how tonight goes.
